ECLKC Virtual Workshop Series: School Readiness Goals and More!

This is a completed event.

Description:

This workshop features the Cross-Cutting Approaches: School Readiness topic on the Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center (ECLKC). Content specialists from the National Center on Early Childhood Development, Teaching, and Learning (NCECDTL) and the Head Start Information and Communications Center (HSICC) will highlight resources, guide the discussion, and answer questions.

The ECLKC is the official website of the Office of Head Start. It provides the latest policy and practice information, training materials, and resources that respond to the needs of Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Child care programs and the broader early childhood community also find the ECLKC useful.

Topics for the workshop include:

  • Resources that address school readiness goals at all levels of service delivery, from program-wide to center-based and classroom levels
  • Aligning school readiness goals with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF) and state standards
  • Using the ELOF Implementation Guide to apply the school readiness information and resources to their own programs

Target Audience

  • Head Start and Early Head Start managers
  • Regional Office staff
  • Child care staff
  • T/TA providers
