Tuition Support Opportunity for Early Childhood Special Education Licensure

Description:

Radford University (RU) and the University of Lynchburg (UL) offer tuition support for teachers who are fulfilling requirements for their provisional Birth-5, Children with Disabilities license. This opportunity is funded through the Virginia Department of Education Early Childhood Special Education Consortium grant. Tuition support is available for students who are non-degree seeking (just taking courses to fulfil their license) or degree seeking (pursuing a Master’s degree). Support can also be provided for teachers who wish to add-on the endorsement or administrators wishing to gain information on early childhood special education. Currently the support is $400 towards tuition. RU also has a special Virginia Educator Reduced Tuition rate for any teachers in the Virginia Public Schools.

All courses are offered online, both synchronously and asynchronously. The courses are available on a rotation basis for spring, summer, and fall semesters. If you would like more information, please contact Dr. Sharon Gilbert at RU or Dr. Andrew Bruce at UL for more information.
