Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Administrator Contact List 2024

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is updating contact information for school division leaders responsible for the administrative oversight of local Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs. Each school division should have at least one person identified as the leader responsible for administrative oversight of the ECSE program. This person is the one primarily responsible for the provision of a quality ECSE program that helps prepare young children with IEPs for school through program coordination and operations, adherence to state and federal mandates, and professional development on evidence-based practices and programming. The purpose of this update is to ensure VDOE can provide communication and technical assistance related to ECSE to the appropriate school division leader.
