"Introduction to VAConnects for School Based PreK Programs" Webinar

VDOE will be hosting a webinar to support school based ECE programs understanding of the new VAConnects system. This webinar will provide school-based early childhood programs with more information about the migration of LinkB5, VALLSS, and VKRP into VAConnects. VAConnects is a modern, secure integrated data system that connects LinkB5, the Virginia Language and Literacy Screening System (VALLSS), and the Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Program (VKRP) and helps  ensure Virginia is complying with state law, namely that VQB5 enables “outcome-based measurements.”  Registration is required. This session will be recorded, the recording and slide deck will be sent to all registered participants.

VAConnects will:   

• Improve outcomes for children by enabling the use of data to systematically improve child outcomes, including school readiness   

• Better support educators by increasing ease of use and reporting information  

• Ensure best-in-class operability and security, improving the technology experience for users and support best practices for data security
