Children experiencing homelessness may be impacted by a variety of health, developmental, and educational challenges. Children experiencing homelessness are more likely to have in language, literacy, and social-emotional development, but may face increased barriers to become eligible for and access specialized services.
Join us to explore programs (entitlements? i.e. McV, IDEA) and services for young children with disabilities or suspected delays who are experiencing homelessness, including how Head Start staff can collaborate with community and state partners to help children and families access supports.
