The Inclusion Roadmap: Navigating Inclusive Placements and Indicator 6

Description:

The VDOE is providing a webinar to assist school divisions in identifying, developing, and sustaining inclusive early childhood programs for children with Individualized Education Programs and how to accurately collect and report early childhood placement data through Indicator 6. Content will include the benefits and legal requirements of early childhood inclusion, contexts and models of inclusion, resources for programs to support and improve inclusion, and state and division level inclusion data. A detailed overview of Indicator 6 (Early Childhood Placement) will be provided. Administrators of programs that serve young children with disabilities are encouraged to attend.
