TechKnowledgy Conference 2026: AT in Action

Description:

The Virginia Department of Education’s Assistive Technology Network is planning the 2026 TechKnowledgy Conference in Harrisonburg, VA. The TechKnowledgy 2026 planning committee invites all interested persons to submit proposals to present during conference breakout sessions for Tuesday, November 17. 

Presenters should plan to engage participants, including the use of practice-based learning opportunities, as part of their presentation. We recognize that high-quality, hands-on sessions sometimes require materials or supplies. Limited funding may be available to support approved material purchases that directly enhance participant engagement.

Each session will be 75 minutes in length. Each room will be set up to include a table, microphone, LCD projector, and screen. Presenters must provide their own laptop computer and handouts. 

Proposals for sessions must be received by June 12, 2026. Presenters will be notified of their acceptance by August 14, 2026.
