Early Childhood Special Education Itinerant Model Survey

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) requests your participation in a brief survey to better understand how school divisions are using the Early Childhood Special Education Itinerant Model to support the inclusion of children with IEPs in preschool classrooms. Responses will be used to inform development of statewide technical assistance and resources.
It is important for VDOE to receive a survey from every division to ensure representation across the Commonwealth. The survey may be completed by anyone who serves in the capacity of ECSE Coordinator. This may be a designated coordinator or administrator, a special education director, or a master teacher serving in this role.
This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be open until January 31, 2026. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
