Beginning Cued Speech Class (Northern Virginia's Cued Speech Association)

Description:

Registration is closed for a virtual Beginning Cued Speech class! The next course is starting July 11, 2023.

Taught virtually via Zoom, this 7-session course will present the entire Cued Speech system in 14 classroom hours, with two 2-hour classes per week. The course will teach all Cued Speech handshapes and placements and will cover basic information needed to implement the system independently. Course completion certificates will be available for participants who attend all 7 lessons. Fees are subsidized by a grant from the National Cued Speech Association and are reduced from $50 to $25 for many participants.

Classes start Tuesday, July 11, and will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:30-8:30 p.m. (EST), through August 3.

Instructor is Maureen Bellamy, NCSA-certified Instructor of Cued Speech.
