REGISTER NOW for Children Together's Spring Conference, Neurodevelopmental Science & Social-Emotional Development:Building Relationships at Home and in the Classroom with Dr. Beth Tuckwiller. 

Focusing on birth to age 5, Dr. Tuckwiller will provide practical advice to optimize aspects of early social-emotional development, a critical foundation for healthy development. The session will focus on innovative ways in which to develop, implement, and sustain positive relationship-building in home and classroom environments. She will provide strategies to translate findings from attachment theory and the mutual regulation model into actionable approaches for parents, childcare workers, and early childhood teachers to optimize social emotional development. 

Presenter: 

Dr. Beth Tuckwiller is an Assistant Professor of Special Education and Disability Studies at the Graduate School of Education and HumanDevelopment at The George Washington University. She earned herPh.D. in Special Education from the University of Virginia after earning a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology (licensure track).Dr. Tuckwiller's current research interests focus on psychological variables associated with teaching and learning, particularly those related to the socio-emotional components of caregiving relationships and classroom environments. She is an award-winning teacher and has been recognized as an engaging presenter, speaker and educator.
