The Evidence-Based Practices Academy is designed to provide educators of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with direct training in evidence-based practices designed to increase access to the general education environment and curriculum. Through a two-day, in-person regional training, teachers will learn to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and revise learning modules designed to ensure their autistic students learn the required academic content in general education environments to the greatest extent possible.

• Regions 2 and 3: Hyatt Place Hampton (1905 Coliseum Dr, Hampton VA): April 16-17, 2024, 9:00 am-3:00 pm
• Regions 4 and 5: Holiday Inn Staunton (152 Fairway Ln, Staunton, VA): May 9 - 10, 2024, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Regions 6 and 7: Hampton Inn Christianburg (380 Arbor Dr. NE, Christianburg, VA): June 3 - 4, 2024
  9:00am - 2:00pm
• Regions 1 and 8: Holiday Inn Express Chester (1911 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831): July 15 - 16, 2024, 9:00am - 3:00pm
