Webinar: Toxic Stress & the Brain: Trauma Informed Care for Infants & Toddlers

Description:

Exposure to poverty and other stressors can impact an infant's or toddler's ability to learn and function socially.  Early care providers working with infants and toddlers are invited to participate in this free, one hour webinar.  We will discuss the effects of toxic stress and how parents and caregivers can use this information to create a "Safe Brain" environment to activate learning and relationship-building skills in their children. 

Registration deadline is February 27, 2017.  Register early!  We encourage programs to include multiple program staff on the webinar.  You may access the webinar on any electronic device with speaker capability, or you may listen only over the phone.

Following the webinar, participants who complete and return the evaluation by March 17, 2017 will receive a certificate of participation noting training hours.
