Calling ALL Paraprofessionals in Virginia Public Schools! Looking for a space to connect, learn, and grow professionally? Now you have one! You’re the essential “boots on the ground” who help schools run smoothly and support students and staff every day—and we see you! VCU-RRTC’s Autism Center for Education (ACE) is launching a NEW online community just for YOU!

There are 4 sessions designed to empower paraprofessionals who support teachers working with students with autism:

Session Dates & Topics:

• Oct 29, 2025 – Supporting Teachers, Supporting Me!
• Nov 19, 2025 – Promoting Social Communication Throughout the Day
• Jan 28, 2026 – Building Independence and Self-Determination
• Mar 18, 2026 – End-of-Year Essentials: What Every Paraprofessional Should Know

Each session will be offered twice to fit your schedule. Choose one of the following time slots:

• Morning: 7:30 – 8:30 AM
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
